Santiago Canyon Fire - 2007 : Images of the Modjeska Canyon burning were taken from Santa Margarita Parkway & Empressa streets and from the lake in Rancho Santa Margarita on Tuesday evening, October 23. This is part of the Santiago Canyon fire. The images of the moon were captured on the evening of October 25 from my home in Rancho Santa Margarita.

Canon Captures Catalina 2007 : These images were taken at the Canon Captures Catalina workshop on 9.30.07. Canon provided workshops with some of their best and brightest. Eddie Tapp and Greg Gorman were two of Canon’s “Explorer of Light” photographers giving instruction at the event. Anyone attending the event could rent, free of charge, any Canon camera body, lens, flash or accessory. It was a great opportunity to try a lot of different equipment, especially lenses for me. The workshop included breakfast, lunch and transportation to and from Catalina; all for $100. Kudos to Canon for hosting such a wonderful event!
